Events, Sales & Marketing Manager

(Part-Time, 20hrs/week + Overtime)

Are you a creative, hard-working go-getter with a knack for sales, marketing, and events? We’re looking for someone who’s ready to dive in, make an impact, and help us grow in exciting new directions.

🌟 About the Role:

  • Part-time (20hrs/week) with potential to grow into a full-time position.

  • Hours and Days: Flexible, occasional weekend work required, with some on-site work.

  • Location: Office-based in Chippenham (Bumpers Farm)

  • Salary: £17,500 - £19,500 (depending on experience) + occasional overtime agreed on an hourly rate.

  • Start date: March/April 2025.

  • Interviews: Starting mid-January.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 2-3 years in the Events industry + strong Sales & Marketing background.

  • Must-haves: Over 21, full driving license, excellent communication and time management skills.

  • Personality: Organised, confident, proactive, solutions-driven, great with people, and comfortable liaising with decision-makers.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales: Identify and connect with new clients whilst understanding and promoting our business.

  • Marketing: Support our Marketing Manager across all arms of the Melt Productions umbrella (Events, Bars, and Weddings).

  • Account Management: Oversee projects for current clients from start to finish.

💡 Bonus Skills & Experience:

  • Ability to create engaging social media content with creative flair.

  • Background in the Wedding/Events and/or Hospitality industries.

  • Willingness to assist on-site with events (paid as overtime).

Workshop, Events & Bars Manager

Are you a hands-on, enthusiastic problem solver who enjoys the dynamic world of events and hospitality? We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our team. This is a part-time role with the potential to grow into a full-time position for the right person.

  • Start date: March/April 2025.

  • Location: Office-based in Chippenham (Bumpers Farm) with some on-site work.

  • Salary: £17,000 - £19,000 (depending on experience) + occasional overtime agreed on an hourly rate.

  • Start date: March/April 2025.

  • Interviews: Starting mid-January.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Workshop Management:

    • Set up and maintain the workshop space.

    • Organise inventories, stock-taking, and equipment deliveries.

    • Select and prep items for events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

  • Events & Bars Management:

    • Prep for events and play an active role in their delivery.

📋 Must-Haves:

  • Over 21 years old.

  • A full driving license.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience and/or some knowledge and understanding of sound and lighting equipment, or be willing to learn.

  • Carpentry skills (bonus for those who love creating and building).

  • Experience managing bars, including holding a Personal License (preferred but not essential).

  • Background in the Hospitality industry.

  • Customer service skills.
